I’ve been a member for Pacific Boating for four months now, and it’s been such an adventure already. I love the flexibility and being able to explore Sydney’s waterways as my own skipper, with my friends and family in tow.
Prior to becoming a Pacific Boating member, I had no clue about sailing or how to drive a boat. I took advantage of Pacific Boating’s one week of training, which is included in the membership and honestly haven’t looked back. It was so insightful, and the trainers were so patient and thorough, it really put me at ease and gave me the confidence to take the boat out, confidently in the driving seat.
Since securing my membership and boat licence, I’ve become the go-to for friends when they have guests arriving in Sydney, which I don’t mind in the slightest! What better way to showcase this amazing city than via boat on the water, after all it’s a little bit different to Ireland, where I grew up!
I like to provide the full experience for my guests, think mooring, inflatables and plenty of sunbathing. Pacific Boating certainly accommodates for this! It’s also a great date venue for a date, I’ve had no complaints so far.
My favourite spots on Sydney harbour are Spit Bridge, Quarantine Bay, Shark Beach and watching sunset over the Opera House.
There’s nothing better than getting my drone out on the water and to capture candid shots of my family and friends enjoying the experience as much as I do. I feel that’s what the winning photo really captures, the dream lifestyle that Pacific Boating provides for its members, along with a picture-perfect day on the water.
I couldn’t recommend a Pacific Boating membership more readily, as someone that’s time poor the flexibility of picking up the keys, cleaning of the boat at the end of the day, and fuel refills provided by the team. It enables me to make the most of my time on the water without the added worry.
